My first pint of Guinness in London…and it’s 3pm!
And for the record, even though I haven’t made it to Ireland yet, the Guinness in London does taste better. Its hard to explain the difference though. It’s both richer and less bitter than the version you taste in the states. What’s most noteworthy is that Guinness, the beer known for it’s heavy consistency, tastes much “lighter” over here.
This is London
And this is me
…well not quite. But a body double will have to do for now.
I’ll be honest. I hate writing intro posts. In fact I hate expository writing in general. I can barely write a coherent paragraph let alone piece together a meaningful blog entry meant to introduce a new website to the blogosphere. In light of that information, my overall “gross” incompetence, I’ll try and keep this post short and brief.
This site, as I’m sure you’ve recognized already, is called London Philosophy a blog created to chronicle my upcoming year abroad in London. As your loyal narrator, I’ll be writing various posts on the oddities of life in the UK, going to school in London, and the intoxicated shenanigans that I get into along the way.
